Leadership Programs

Marmion offers two programs aimed at developing personal qualities of Christian leadership. Each student chooses which program he would like to join.

JROTC



The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is a U.S. Army high school program.

In the program, cadets learn to become better citizens through classes which focus on such topics as history, leadership, and oral communication.

They take part in military drill, inspections, and parades. As they advance through the ranks, they assume increasing responsibility for leadership among other cadets in their company.

The JROTC program supports a competitive Rifle Team and Drill Team. In addition cadets can participate in an Adventure Platoon and a one week JROTC Summer Camp.

LEAD
Leadership Education And Development

Marmion's four year LEAD program is designed to educate students for and about leadership. The goal of the program is to give students the knowledge and experience required to become a model citizen leader.

While leadership and service is an academic course, it approaches learning in a dynamic, exciting and fun way. Students develop pride and confidence in themselves and as a team. As they team up for special projects they earn awards and other Leadership titles.
