Marmion Academy

  Congratulations to the Marmion Swim Team on their 10th place finish in this weekend’s IHSA State Swim Championship Meet at Evanston Township High School. The Cadets were led by senior Matt Pircon who earned a 5th place finish in the 50-freestyle and a 5th place finish in the 100-breaststroke... And congratulations, also to Coach Dean Branstetter and the Marmion Wrestling Team, who made their first “Elite-Eight” appearance this weekend at the IHSA State Wrestling Meet in Bloomington. Marmion lost to eventual 2A champion, Montini Catholic...The January "Alumni Edition" of the Marmion Magazine and The Academy Beacon are now online...Be sure to check out Marmion's tuition reduction program -- Cadet Cash. Purchase gift certificates for a variety of stores, supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants, department stores, and many other retailers who give a rebate for your purchase.  This rebate is applied to your son’s tuition...The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) has named thirty-seven Marmion seniors (30% of the class) as 2010 Illinois State Scholars.  Students from nearly every high school in Illinois competed in this year’s program..We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with Mozilla Firefox web browsers. For now, the Marmion website is best viewed using Internet Explorer. Lt COL Jason Patla '90

The Marmion JROTC welcomed guest speaker Lt COL Jason Patla '90 to the annual Marmion Military Night on Sunday, February 28. The Flannigan Rifles Drill Team thrilled the crowded gymnasium with two outstanding performances.
